Biotin–NeutrAvidin Mediated Immobilization of Polymer Micro- and Nanoparticles on T Lymphocytes

Cells are powerful carriers that can help to improve the delivery of nanomedicines. One approach use cells as is immobilize nanoparticulate cargo on cell surface. While a plethora chemical conjugation strategies available bind nanoparticles surfaces, only relatively little known about effects particle size and type surface immobilization nanoparticles. This study investigates biotin–NeutrAvidin mediated model polymer with sizes ranging from 40 nm 1 ?m two different T lines, viz., human Jurkat well mouse SJL/PLP7 cells, which potential interest for drug across blood–brain barrier. The nanoparticle concentration distribution were analyzed by flow cytometry confocal microscopy. functional properties nanoparticle-modified assessed in an ICAM-1 binding assay two-chamber setup migration particle-modified vitro barrier was studied. results these experiments highlight line living cells.
